To date we have spent $200 of this year’s budget. The 501(c) 3 tax form needs to be filed costing $75.00.

Melissa reported that the school chapter of the town history is in process and will be done soon. She has done many interviews and has examined some original documents that we have on record.

Liz reported that the travel trunk project is making progress and we will submit the package of required paperwork to the Humanities Council for the Sept deadline.

At Old Home Day we will have a table at the field as well as outside the museum. The museum will be open. We will also offer a raffle, a bake sale, banks and 2022 calendars. Raffle tickets will be 3 for $1 or an arm length for $5. The drawing will be at 3:00pm. We will need a poster with details. We will meet Wednesday August 11 from 1-3 to bring items and finalize plans. We decided that baked goods would be sold by donation.

We decided to sponsor the Made in Loudon Expo on December 5 from 1-5 with the tree lighting to follow. Lucy will save the date with the town for use of the building.

We voted to pay $100 for the use of Ancestry for 6 months. We also discussed organizing a fall cemetery tour for Historical Society members.

September 1 at 6:30 pm is the next meeting.

Meeting adjourned at 7:35.
