Public Assistance/Welfare

If you are in need of public assistance, please contact the Selectmen's Office (603) 798-4541 and you will be directed to the appropriate person. If you need assistance after hours dial 211.

Applications for General Assistance are available on-line and at the Selectmen's Office. Please be aware it could take up to 72 hours to receive a decision regarding eligibility and past due payments are the responsibility of the applicant.  If you have received a past-due notice or notice of disconnect you need to contact the utility or company with the issue and try and make payment arrangements directly.
