Michele reviewed announcements. She will be visiting the Chichester Historical Society on October 23rd at 2pm. If anyone wants to ride with her she will meet them at the LHS.

Michele purchased a new external hard drive that can store all of the HS video’s and materials on the old laptop.

The memorial for Tristam Stevens was held on Sept 17th. Thank you to Stan Prescott for his contribution to that.

Bob Scarponi from Canterbury Historical Society will be coming to visit us in February or March 2017 to discuss how they wrote their town history book.

Michele stated that it has been approved by the Selectmen that we will resume the tradition of awarding the Boston Post Cane. We will discuss the process of selecting the award recipient.

Lucy reviewed the minutes from the September meeting. Ashley approved and Michele seconded.

The group voted for officers of the Historical Society.

There was discussion about the need to establish a new e-mail account that all Directors will have addresses on.
