American Legion

Meets the third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at our Post location at 45 South Village Road.

Before Memorial Day, we tend to all Veteran's graves at the cemeteries in  Loudon.  This includes placing new flags and holders at Veteran's grave sites as well as properly disposing of old flags.  If we have forgotten a grave or you need replacement flags or marker, please call Stan Prescott at 783-0307 or Post 88 at 798-5875 or email us at nhpost88@gmail.com.  Our current membership dues are only $30.00 per year. There are many benefits to becoming a Legionnaire and we would be happy to talk to you about  becoming a member and what the Legion does to support veterans and the community. We have a tradition of paying your first years dues for any qualified individual who has never held membership in the American Legion in the past.

We are actively seeking new members who have the appropriate military service dates.  We will need to see a copy of your DD-214 to verify your eligibility dates as declared by Congress.  Additionally, we welcome woman veterans for membership in the Legion as well as women related to qualified members for the Auxiliary unit. We are also looking for sons or grandsons of veterans to re-charter our Sons of the American Legion Squadron. Our mission is to provide assistance to veterans, children and our community.
